AJ Castano

AJ Castano was born and raised in Long Beach, California, where an early diet of Johnny Cash, AC/DC, and composer John Williams sparked his lifelong connection to music.

A Communications graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, AJ built his foundation in high-impact storytelling across ESPN, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Communications Bureau, and Foul Territory, a Major League Baseball podcasting company.

Since 2022, when he attended his first Hard Summer Music Festival, AJ has immersed himself as both a fan and a student of dance music. Drawing inspiration from the Planet X stage takeover at EDC Las Vegas 2025 and artists like Josh Baker, Prospa, the Dean family, and the Maccabi House team, he’s always looking for the next big track.

Outside of work, you can find him cheering on his back-to-back World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
